Professional Development Teacher 

 
Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Professional Development Teacher in Early Childhood Development Project (ECDP) funded by AUSaid.

 

Responsibilities
The incumbent will be responsible to:

  • Work in relevant team (s) for developing and reviewing programme handbook and instructional materials for teaching;
  • Assist and co-teach in the programmes offered under ECDP;
  • Plan/design workshops, sessions and short courses in ECDP;
  • Communicate to the project stakeholders/beneficiaries required for programmatic offerings;
  • Participate in ECDP research initiatives and team meetings;
  • Prepare periodic progress reports for submission to the Management;
  • Facilitate project team and beneficiaries to achieve the project objectives.

 

Requirements
Applicants should have:

  • A Master’s degree in Education or a degree in ECED with 2-3 years of relevant experience;
  • Strong conceptual and communication skills both verbal and written in English with ability to write reports, Baluchi language will be an added advantage;
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks as well as meeting stringent deadlines and ability to work well in teams;
  • Willingness to travel domestically;
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
